Fares studies motor networks in individuals diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavioral Disorder using electroencephalography. His goal is to identify changes in oscillatory signatures that may predict the development of Parkinson’s disease in the future, with the hope of aiding early interventions. Fares is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Marburg, Germany, working remotely with the Oehrn Lab.
